The Most Important Choice You Will Make for Your Pool
All Tile Pools:
- Installed using 1" square ceramic tiles or glass mosaic tiles
- Available in a wide variety of colors
- Provides the most even color distribution possible
- Allows for accurately recreated pattern designs in the surface (mosaic)
- Can easily be repaired without the variations in color
- Less abrasive on swimmers feet and hands (especially children)
- Will provide more years of enjoyment than any other surface available (30+ years)
- Non-porous surface - algea will not readily bond to the surface
- Will not deteriorate in heavy use areas like spas
- Will not stain
- Will not rust
- Will not snag swimwear
- Surface generally will not fade
Pebble-Tec & Pebble Sheen Pools:
- Installed by hand troweling the dyed plaster and pebble mix into the shell
- Available in 16 colors
- Provides a more even color distribution than colored plaster
- Finely screened pebbles result in a surface that is bumpy, not abrasive
- Natural pebble finish creates a spectrum of colors as the sunlight changes throughout the day
- With proper chemical maintenance will last about twice as long as regular plaster
- Less porous surface - algea will not bond to the surface as readily as to standard plaster
- Will provide better wear in heavy use areas like spas
Durazzo Pools:
- Installed by polishing a hand troweled dyed plaster and marble chip mix
- (similar to the terrazzo floor process)
- Available in 8 colors
- Provides a more even color distribution than dyed plaster
- Less abrasive on swimmers feet and hands (especially children)
- With proper chemical maintenance will last about twice as long as regular plaster
- Less porous surface - algea will not bond to the surface as readily as to standard plaster
- Will provide better wear in heavy use areas like spas
- Topical stains and blemishes can be "polished out"
- Will not snag swimwear
- Requires frost-proof tile at waterline
Ultra Plus Pools:
- Installed by hand troweling Ultra Plus onto the shell
- Uses exclusively pure white, non-graying Canadian hard marble
- Longest wearing plaster finish in the industry
- Reflective white surface yields sparkling blue water
- Available in Pure White plus 5 Colorquartz shades of gray
- Very dense surface provides stain and algae resistance
- Minor repairs can be made with only slight variations in color
- Topical stains and blemishes can be "polished out"
- Leaf stains can be bleached out
- Surface is less likely to "pit" and become rough if chemicals are not kept perfectly balanced
- Stains and rust spots are more visible on white finishes than on other finishes and colors
- Requires frost-proof tile at waterline
Colored & Dyed Finish Pools:
- Installed by hand troweling the colored plaster onto the shell
- Available in a variety of colors
- Provides a more natural look that white plaster
- Surface will "pit" and become rough if chemicals are not kept closely balanced
- Porous surface - algea will bond to the surface if left untreated
- Color will mottle (be uneven) and fade over time

White Plaster Pools:
- Installed by hand troweling the white plaster onto the shell
- Reflective white surface yields sparkling blue water

- Replacment cost less than other finishes

- Surface will "pit" and become rough if chemicals are not kept closely balanced
durability can be improved by adding MetaMax
- Porous surface - algea will bond to the surface if left untreated

- Improves the durability of all plaster finishes

- Slighty Less Porous surface - algea will take longer to bond to the pool surface
